CPR training at Foster Walker Complex

ORGANIZATION: Illinois Heart Rescue

  • A group opportunity. Invite your friends.

The CPR training is at Foster Walker Complex, 1927 Orrington Avenue, Evanston, IL, 60201 I've made a spreadsheet for volunteers for the training for one hour time slots from 11am-4pm on Friday February 23rd. If you could make an event and send it out over the listserv that would be great. They can stay for as long as the whole event 11am-4pm or even for an hour if they are in the area. They would also need to come to a training session that we will be holding sometime on Sunday February 18. We'll make a doodle for that I think once we have the volunteers. https://www.facebook.com/event s/1888749344771039/?notif_t= plan_user_associated¬if_id= 1517879363729949
I have slots for 16 volunteers total. With the 5 mannequins we are grabbing we could add more depending on how much interest there is. Here is info to share with the volunteers: Texas Two Step CPR is a free, hands only CPR lesson that will take place at numerous high traffic sites in about 20 cities. This is the third year of the project and the first two years actually took place in Texas only. Now the event will be taking place in one weekend all across the country! Stop by Foster-Walker Complex in Evanston on Friday February 23rd anytime between 11am-4pm and learn in 5 minutes how to do bystander CPR and potentially save the life of a loved one or a very grateful stranger! We need volunteers (don't need to be CPR certified at all) for one hour time slots and would get you involved with a national organization of medical students, doctors, and health equity advocates.
