PETS

PETS holds adoption events to showcase the cats and dogs available for adoption at least once a month at the Jordan Creek Petco in West Des Moines. Events are typically scheduled the first Saturday and Sunday of the month and generally run from 11:00 am - 4:00 pm.

There will be 2 coordinators that will work together in planning the event, including posting for volunteers from our current volunteer list for staffing, arranging for the animals to attend, and setting up the equipment and displays. The coordinator will need to be on-site for the duration of the event to direct and manage the other volunteers, speak with potential adopters, process adoption applications, and complete adoptions.
