MEDICAL PROFESSIONALS NEEDED to help provide basic medical services to low-income and homeless residents of San Francisco. CityTeam San Francisco is a faith-based non-profit organization which provides residential recovery services for men with drug and alcohol addiction, in addition to supportive community services for neighbors in the South of Market and Tenderloin neighborhoods of San Francisco. Doctors, advance practice nurses, and physician assistants are needed to help evaluate the medical concerns of CityTeam clients, during medical clinic hours (11:30-2:30 on the 2nd and 4th Saturdays each month). Cityteam is a nondenominational Christian nonprofit compassionately serving the poor, the homeless, and the lost in San Jose, Philadelphia, San Francisco, Oakland, Portland, and around the world.
Cityteam San Francisco is located in the heart of the Tenderloin, and is one of the only shelters, feeding and recovery programs south of Market. Volunteers and donors often tell me that they didn’t realize how much Cityteam does to help homeless people on the streets, the elderly that live in SROs and those suffering from addiction.
Yes, San Francisco’s homeless crisis and lack of affordable housing is at an all-time high, but we have a BIG God and nothing is impossible with Him. We have been blessed to witness countless lives changed. We are grateful to local partners, donors and volunteers that have a heart for serving those in need with dignity and grace.
