ORGANIZATION: Capitol Land Trust

Bayshore

Join Capitol Land Trust and Center for Natural Lands Management for some hands on restoration work at Bayshore Preserve, located on the western shore of Oakland Bay. We'll be mainly working on removing invasive plant populations - removing these species will help encourage and maintain native plant populations, and help restore the area back to its full potential. This is a great opportunity to learn more about your environment, get some fresh air, and help restore our valuable ecosystems!

Tools, gloves and light snacks will be provided. Leather gloves are best for blackberry removal. We have a few pairs, but please bring a pair if you have them. Please dress prepared for the weather, as we work rain or shine and wear sturdy shoes. Minors must be accompanied by an adult or have a waiver filled out ahead of time.
