ORGANIZATION: Brookdale Hospice

  • 1 person is interested

Brookdale Hospice needs caring individuals who want to assist patients who have a life-ending disease, as well as their family caregivers. A Training Kick-Off Session is being hosted on March 15 th at the Wayne, PA office. (Training is free, but registration is required.)

Brookdale Hospice serves all of Berks, Bucks, Chester and Montgomery Counties, bringing their special kind of care to where their patients reside: private home, assisted living, and other nursing-assistance facilities.

Volunteers provide the extras (respite support & friendly visits) that help patients and their families get through a difficult time. Volunteers, who can bring special skills like, Pet Therapy, massage, cosmetology, and /or Reiki, are encouraged to get involved too!

Anyone interested is encouraged to request an Introductory Packet, which will have more details about becoming an active volunteer with Brookdale Hospice. Reply to this post and request a Packet (you will need to provide a mailing address).
