You can make a difference! Become an adult literacy tutor. Attend Project Read's tutor training February 24 & March 3 from 10:00 am -12:00 pm to learn techniques for tutoring adults enrolled in the South San Francisco Adult School. Participants will learn techniques to provide one-on-one or small group tutoring to adults in need of improving their basic reading and writing skills. Learn to help adult school students who are preparing to take the High School Equivalency Exam.

We train community volunteers to provide literacy tutoring for adults so that they improve their reading and writing, which has a profound effect on their ability to get and keep a job, to help their children succeed in school, and to take a proactive role in managing their health and financial well-being.
