The Boys & Girls Club Henry T. Schatz Branch (3875 S. 66th St, Tacoma 98409) is seeking a STEM Volunteer to help with their 3rd grade Pacific Northwest Environmental Science Program. Ideal candidate would have a science or environmental science background and enjoy working with children. Duties include assisting staff members with program planning, helping teach kids about our local environment, and facilitating hands on activities with up to 20 children.
Schedule: Minimum 1 day per week. M, T, W or Th 4:00 - 6:00 p.m. April - June 2018
Requirements: Volunteer must be at least 18 years of age and undergo a criminal background check, volunteer orientation, and training.
