Volunteers are needed to assist in our Hunger Resource Center's Food Warehouse for a variety of jobs.
Volunteers may be asked to assist guests as they shop for food, gather information to ensure the family is able to get service or other duties as needed. There is also some organizing and cleaning needed to ensure we are able to serve the nearly 600 families who relay on us for food each month.
Volunteers 18 and older may volunteer and should be able to lift up to 25lbs. Spanish speaking is preferred for some positions, but not required. Our biggest needs are on Thursday afternoons 1pm-3:30pm and Friday mornings 9am-12pm. Volunteers must also commit to at least one shift every other week. This opportunity is for long-term volunteers only (six months or longer)
