Help create a coding course

ORGANIZATION: Educate Nigeria Using Technology Foundation

  • 3 people are interested

We are creating an "Arduino for beginners" course for our students in Grade 7 and Grade 8. The details are ironed out for the most part, but we need help from creative minds like you to make the course more engaging.

The course is spread over 13 weeks in which the kids learn about Arduino and what they can create with the Arduino Uno. The students learn about the Arduino Ide and how to upload code to the device.

The project starts out with the basic blink code and by week 10 the students start on a final project to build an Arduino powered RGB nightlight.

What we need:
1) Help creating simple engaging content to make the concepts easy to understand
2) some help simplifying coding (maybe by using a visual coding tool like tinkercads blocks, blockly or minibloq)
3) a team to discuss how we can improve the course
4) Help creating courseware

If you think you have the skills to help students in Nigeria learn about coding, join us and we will be happy to work with you
