Experienced Analyst to help with data verification, analysis and trends

Make an impact on your community using your analytical skills! Your experience in data analysis and reporting will help us analyze and manage our Meal Connect tool.

We are looking for an experienced analyst or finance manager to help us. The volunteer will work closely with the Senior Manager Food Sourcing and her staff to monitor receipt activities and perform variance and trend analyses in Meal Connect.

• Evaluate and validate data.
• Analyze receipts and generate analysis for management presentations and communication. Create and update graphs to show month-to-month and year-to-year variances and trends.

Requirements:

• Strong analytical skills and experience creating a business analysis
• Experience with Microsoft Excel, or similar software.
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work proactively and independently, communicating well with staff
• Relevant experience in financial reporting and analysis, and management presentations
• Promote the mission and activities of SHFB with enthusiasm.

We have an immediate and ongoing need for assistance. The ideal volunteer will be available to work 4-8 hours per week. A minimum 3 month commitment is required.

The hours are flexible but must be agreed with the work supervisor. The volunteer will need to perform the work on-site at our Curtner location.
