Westchester Lagoon Family Skate

The ConocoPhillips Westchester Lagoon Family Skate is a fun, family tradition throughout winter in Anchorage! Help us make February 24th extra memorable with our special guests - Borealis the Bear, Bluebeary the Bear, Egan the Eagle, Sonja the Sled Dog, and Splash the Sea Otter!

We are looking for five volunteers to wear these animals costumes and either walk or skate around the lagoon, take photos with children, high five skaters, and have some fun out on the ice! We are looking for another five volunteers to help the costumed volunteers navigate around the lagoon safely and assist with taking photos.

Volunteers must be comfortable either walking (with ice grippers) or skating on ice. Volunteers are needed 12-3:30pm, and the skating event is from 1-3pm.
