Calvary Women’s Services offers housing, health, employment and education programs that empower homeless women in Washington, DC to change their lives. Our programs carry out our mission to offer "a safe, caring place for tonight; support, hope and change for tomorrow." In order to continue funding our programs, Calvary holds an annual event known as the Hope Awards Dinner, which is our single biggest fundraiser of the year. Hope Awards Dinner Administrative Volunteers assist our development team with various administrative tasks that make the Hope Awards Dinner possible.

Hope Awards Admin Volunteers are asked to make a commitment of coming on site for three hours a week, for at least one month from early March to mid-May. While on site, volunteers can expect to do a variety of tasks, such as stuffing invitations, requesting donations, and working on the auction booklet. Volunteers should be organized, timely, and have strong communication skills and neat handwriting.
