Patient and Family Support Volunteers are needed in the Greater Haverhill and Lawrence areas. Volunteers with a desire to make a difference are needed; your presence is a true gift to our hospice patients and families.

There is a special need for Veteran volunteers, Bi-Lingual (Spanish/English) volunteers and Licensed Massage Therapists.

Volunteers work in homes, nursing homes, assisted living facilities and High Pointe House, the hospice residence in Haverhill, MA. All volunteers receive training and ongoing education as they are critical members of the hospice team.

Tufts Medicine Care at Home, the leader in hospice care, provides comfort care and palliative services to patients facing life-limiting illnesses. Whether patients are at home, in a hospital, a long-term care facility, an assisted living facility, or in the High Point Hospice House, our expert staff offer physical, spiritual and emotional care specific to those nearing the end-of-life. Bereavement support and counseling is also offered to families and loved ones.
Hospice care is provided by a multi-disciplinary team consisting of medical directors, nurses, therapists, counselors, chaplains, hospice aides, and volunteers. Together, they provide the highest quality care with compassion and commitment to patients and families.
