In 2008, the Foundation for Foster Children (FFC) was formed to address the staggering statistics surrounding foster children in Central Florida. Our core programs are Enrichment, Education+, and Transition to Adulthood.

There are many ways volunteers support the programs and the youth we serve! Be it at events, or in the office, volunteers are an essential component of our mission! If you're looking to give back, we would love to have you!

PLEASE GO TO THE LINK BELOW to complete our Volunteer Interest Form, view other Volunteer Opportunities, and select a date and time for our orientation!

Mission Statement

Our Mission is to create meaningful connections with children in foster care through personalized support.

Description

Since 2008, the Foundation for Foster Children (FFC) has strived to build a community where all foster children feel a sense of belonging. By focusing on building long-term life skills through one-on-one mentoring, FFC works to ensure that foster youth within its trauma-informed and evidence-based programs avoid arrest and homelessness, graduate high school, and secure housing and employment as they transition out of the foster care system to a life of independence.
