Come help us with our fun DFW Congenital Heart Walk! This year 2020 The walk will be held at Six flags located in Arlington. We will need help setting up the venue, hanging banners, staging water stations, manning registration etc. We will also need help along the pathway during the walk at the different water stations and cheering walkers on! Once the 5k wraps up we will need help with tear down and cleaning up. This is a fun family event!

7:00 - 9:00 A.m. Set-up and registration/check-in 10-12
8:00- 10:00 p.m. Guest ambassadors, refreshments, 21-26
course support and cheer.

The goal of The Children’s Heart Foundation is to bring health, hope and happiness to children impacted by congenital heart defects, the number one birth defect in the United States. We accomplish this goal by funding the most promising research to advance the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of congenital heart defects.
Description
In the United States, a child is born with a Congenital Heart Defect (CHD) every 15 minutes. Children undergo surgeries and sadly, some die every day from CHDs.
We need to understand what causes CHDs and to prevent them. We need to detect and diagnose CHDs as early as possible. While much progress has been made, we need to develop new treatments for CHDs so that children undergo fewer invasive surgeries and improve the long-term prognosis for children with CHDs.
We need your support to fund the most promising research to advance the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of CHDs in children.
