Description
Members of Pyramid Community Development Corporation have a connection with the Linden Community of Columbus, Ohio, that stems back more than 55 years. Along with our Board Member's connection with the Linden Community, several of them have served in various capacities throughout the City of Columbus empowering individuals and businesses in disadvantage areas. With this compassion for Linden and Pyramid CDC’s desire to serve in the community, Pyramid Community Development Corporation was formed.
Pyramid CDC was founded in 2015 by Board Members who collectively bring decades of experience in both Business and Community Development. Our expertise will begin the foundation of developing new methods to utilize Technology to overcome barriers that lead to poverty. We plan to incorporate, within our Business Plan for our CDC, affordable housing, supportive services, community education and organizing Ladders of Opportunities that involve that are seeking a better way of life.
It is our Goal for the community to move from devastation to celebration within ten (10) years. Pyramid CDC plans to partner with Churches and Commercial Landlords to open their brick and mortars to allow more affordable rental spaces for startup businesses. As we open new businesses along the Linden area corridors, residents and outside initiates will see new development and want to participate as business owners and consumers.
