Walk MS: Wichita benefits the National Multiple Sclerosis Society - Mid America Chapter and has many Volunteer Opportunities available, such as Cheer Squads, Parking Attendants, Cheer Squads, Greeters, Cheer Squads, Setup Teams, Cheer Squads, and Cleanup Teams. And we need Cheer Squads too!! We are a 501(C)3 non-profit entity.
Setup for the event will be on Friday, April 13, 2018 from 3pm until approximately 6pm. Bright and early on Saturday, April 14, 2018, the setup will continue at 6am, with the event officially opening at 9am. At 10am, the Walk shall begin, with most walkers completing their routes by 11am. Lunch will be available on-site. The event will close at 1pm, with cleanup completed by 2pm.
Adult-Supervised children are welcome to join us for our Volunteer Opportunities. Individuals and Teams are encouraged to join us for our Volunteer Opportunities. No specific skills are required, other than a smile, happy attitude, and willingness to ensure the safety of and remarkable experience for everyone attending Walk MS. Some "Sit-Down" Opportunities available. You choose when you are available and we'll find an Opportunity for you.
Volunteer Teams are encouraged to wear their event-appropriate business/organization themed attire during their Volunteering Opportunity. Please join us as we celebrate our fundraising efforts to fund research to find a cure for Multiple Sclerosis and provide assistance for those affected by MS. We need you!!
