Walk MS: Wichita benefits the National Multiple Sclerosis Society - Mid America Chapter and has many Volunteer Opportunities available, such as Cleanup Teams. We are a 501(C)3 non-profit entity.
Cleanup for the event will be on Saturday, April 14, 2018 from approximately 11:30am until approximately 2pm. Individuals and Teams are encouraged to join us as our Cleanup Team.
The Cleanup Team will work outside to help to load various boxes of supplies into the delivery van or truck, help take down banners, help collect signs from the Walk Routes, box up supplies, fold up tables and chairs, and any other cleanup tasks which need to be accomplished.
Lifting, carrying, and walking are required for the Cleanup Team, along with a smile, happy attitude, and willingness to ensure the safety of everyone helping.
Volunteer Teams are encouraged to wear their event-appropriate business/organization themed attire during Cleanup, if it does not hinder their ability to move, lift, carry, and walk.
Please join us as we celebrate our fundraising efforts to fund research to find a cure for Multiple Sclerosis and provide assistance for those affected by MS. We need you!!
