Volunteer: Bike Ambassador
Job Description:
The Volunteer Bike Ambassador will work with Program Manager and other Kids on Bikes staff to provide community outreach, teach bicycling education, and lead family bike rides.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with school-based bike clubs and earn-a-bike programs
- Lead family bike rides (Popcycle rides, other neighborhood rides)
- Promote safe cycling on trails and roads
- Promote Kids on Bikes programs at community events
- Bike rodeos
- Health Jams

Mission Statement
Kids on Bikes was established as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization in 2005 with a mission to inspire and empower all kids to lead healthy, active and happy lives through biking.
Description
We use bikes to build healthy, happy and active kids, families and communities.
We know that there are many kids who don’t own a bike and won’t experience the joy of riding it. But we also know that we have to create a community where kids and families embrace biking and go on adventures around the neighborhood and to local parks and trails. Our three priorities are aligned so that we remove barriers to biking and empower kids, families and communities to pedal toward a healthier future.
Our three priorities to ensure all kids ride bikes are to provide access to rideable bikes, empower kids and families in bike safety and create a healthy community that explores neighborhoods, parks and trails together.
Join us in fueling a movement where all kids and families are riding a bike, regardless of income.
