Walk MS: Wichita benefits the National Multiple Sclerosis Society - Mid America Chapter and has many Volunteer Opportunities available, such as teams of Cheerleaders!! We are a 501(C)3 non-profit entity.
On Saturday, April 14, 2018, at 10AM, Walkers will begin their Routes. Most will have finished by 11AM, with the longer route Walkers taking until approximately 12:30PM. Therefore, Cheerleaders would check-in at 9:30AM and be finished by 12:30PM, probably sooner.
Adult-Supervised children are welcome to join us as Cheerleader. Individuals and Teams are encouraged to be cheerleaders. No specific skills are required, other than a smile, happy attitude, and willingness to ensure a remarkable experience for Walk MS Walkers. Cheerleader "Sit-Down" Opportunities available.
Cheerleaders are encouraged to wear bright colors, bring event-appropriate cheer gear, and be ready to yell and holler cheerfully. Volunteer Teams are encouraged to wear their event-appropriate business/organization themed attire during their Volunteering Opportunity. Please join us as we celebrate our fundraising efforts to fund research to find a cure for Multiple Sclerosis and provide assistance for those affected by MS.
