Are you a dog lover? Or maybe you just love a clean ocean? You can help keep Dog Beach clean for people, dogs, birds, and fish! Volunteers of all ages are invited to come help the Friends of Dog Beach pick up litter at the San Diego River Mouth, next to Dog Beach. This is a great opportunity to volunteer while enjoying a beautiful San Diego Beach!

Mission Statement
The San Diego River Park Foundation is dedicated to fostering stewardship and appreciation of the region’s namesake waterway. In order to protect and enhance the San Diego River as a place for recreation, habitat, and nature discovery, we are dedicated to engaging people to be stewards of the River and working towards the vision of a 52 mile, river-long system of parks, open spaces, and community places.
Description
We organize many different volunteer stewardship activities each month. River Cleanups, native plant gardening, habitat restoration, volunteer leadership, water quality testing, outreach and education, special event committees, technical committees and more.
