This role requires no previous experience--just a positive attitude, a friendly smile, and honesty when handling money and transactions. The volunteer can read a book or do another hobby in between customers. Volunteers needed anytime Tuesday-Friday 9am-5pm or Saturday 8am-4pm. Any number of service hours is appreciated. No advance scheduling necessary after a one-time, one-hour orientation.
How This Helps Our CommunityProceeds from all our sales directly benefit Habitat for Humanity of McLean County. Donated items find a new home instead of being sent to the landfill and more money is made available to build more homes alongside deserving families and faithful volunteers in McLean County.

The Bloomington ReStore is a non-profit home improvement store and donation center that sells new and gently used furniture, appliances, cabinets, home accessories, building materials, and more at deeply discounted prices. Proceeds from the ReStore provide funding to Habitat for Humanity of McLean County in an effort to eliminate substandard housing in our community and around the world.
