This role requires no previous experience--just a positive attitude, a friendly smile, and willingness to answer questions from shoppers and donors. The volunteer can read a book or do another hobby in between customers, or help organize merchandise. Volunteers needed anytime Tuesday-Friday 9am-5pm or Saturday 8am-4pm. Any number of service hours is appreciated. No advance scheduling necessary after a one-time, one-hour orientation.
How This Helps Our CommunityHelping shoppers and donors navigate the ReStore increases our sales, which saves more items from going to the landfill and creates more money to build homes with Habitat for Humanity of McLean County.

The Bloomington ReStore is a non-profit home improvement store and donation center that sells new and gently used furniture, appliances, cabinets, home accessories, building materials, and more at deeply discounted prices. Proceeds from the ReStore provide funding to Habitat for Humanity of McLean County in an effort to eliminate substandard housing in our community and around the world.
