February concert by San Francisco Chamber Orchestra in Berkeley

Save to Favorites

ORGANIZATION: San Francisco Chamber Orchestra

  • A group opportunity. Invite your friends.

The San Francisco Chamber Orchestra will present a concert on February 25 at St. John's Presbyterian Church in Berkeley. Masterpieces by two great Romantics-Brahms and Dvorak share the stage in a concert which focusses almost exclusively on the orchestra's wonderful woodwind section. In contrast, Heitor Villa-Lobos's Bachianas Brasileiras No. 5 scored for eight cellos and soprano, is a lush wordless vocalise.

Volunteers will assist members to the reserved section of the hall and also collect contact information from general admission attendees.
