The Volunteer Services Volunteer Leader will support Metropolitan Ministries Volunteer Services department administratively. The Leader will help the department possess and maintain great customer service to all volunteers and staff. The Leader is responsible for providing a positive customer service experience for all volunteers by welcoming and thanking them for the donation of their time, as well as giving information about Metropolitan Ministries volunteer opportunities.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Greet all clients, volunteers, staff and visitors with a warm genuine welcome and smile in person and via phone
- Responsible for assisting with checking-in individual volunteers on volunteer management software
- Manage a high volume of incoming telephone calls in a timely, polite and professional manner, route calls to appropriate staff members, as needed
- Ensure that all volunteers sign-in with proper paperwork and name tags
- Receive training on volunteer management system for recovering hours, adjusting volunteer opportunities, etc.
- Maintain a safe and clean reception area by complying with office procedures, rules and regulations
- Other administrative tasks, as assigned

Experience:
- High School Diploma
- Customer Service experience
- Clerical skills
- Microsoft Office Suite proficient
- Communicate effectively in English (Bilingual a plus!)
- Ability to organize work with attention to detail
