We need some help spreading the word about our Women In Distress SAFEWALK-RUN 5K at the following locations:
2/17/2018
Family Values 5k: Sheridan House Family Ministries at 1700 S Flamingo Rd, Davie, FL 33325 from 9:30 - 11 am.
2/17/2018
Publix A1A Marathon: Huizenga Plaza at One East Las Olas Blvd, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33301 from 8 - 9:30 am.
2/18/2018
KOMEN’S RUN FOR THE PINK 6K: Museum of Discovery and Science at 401 SW 2nd Street, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33312 from 7 - 8:30 am.
Not only is this great exercise but students will receive service hours for participating. A staff member will be present at these events to provide the materials and sign off on hours.

Women In Distress of Broward County, Inc. is the only nationally accredited, state-certified, full service domestic violence center serving Broward County.We offer 24-hour crisis intervention through our 24-Hour Crisis Hotline and emergency shelter, as well as counseling and support for victims and their children. We also provide education and professional trainings on domestic violence and related topics in Broward County schools and in the community.
