The Volunteer Leader will support Metropolitan Ministries Spiritual Formation department administratively. The Leader will help the department possess and maintain great customer service to all clients. The Leader is responsible for providing a positive customer service experience for all who enter the Chapel office suite by welcoming them and helping them connect with the appropriate staff person or program.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Greet all clients, volunteers, staff and visitors with a warm genuine welcome and smile, in-person and via phone
- Manage all incoming telephone calls in a timely, polite and professional manner; route calls to appropriate staff members as needed
- Responsible for assisting with keeping Chapel areas and storage areas organized and tidy
- Assist with administrative functions, including copying, entering data, creating or editing documents, filing, and communicating with other departments on essential functions
- Sort donations in Chapel closet; arrange for transport of non-essential donations to warehouse or thrift store
- Receive training on phone and computer systems used in administrative functions
- Receive training in Sanctuary Model, as pertains to job function
- Maintain safe and clean reception area by complying with office procedures, rules and regulations
- Other administrative duties, as assigned

- High School Diploma
- Customer Service
- Clerical skills
- Microsoft Office Suite proficient
- Communicate effectively in English
