Boys & Girls Clubs of San Francisco is looking for a volunteer yoga teacher to teach weekly classes to a group of adult staff as a tool for them to build mindfulness and disconnect from the daily grind. We are looking for a teacher to lead a weekly class that is 45 - 60 minutes during the lunchtime hour (12 - 1pm) on any weekday. A general vinyasa based slow to moderate flow class for beginners will be the most appropriate, but yin or restorative yoga would also be great. This is a great way for beginner yoga teachers to build their experience and/or for well experienced yoga teachers to support adults who are teaching and supporting local youth.
To sign up, please express interest through VolunteerMatch or email Bret Carr at volunteer@kidsclub.org. Thanks so much!

We have more than 5,800 active members and serve more than 18,500 youth per year at 14 program sites-including eight Clubhouses located in the neighborhoods with the fewest resources, four school-based sites, one park, and Camp Mendocino - a 2,000-acre residential summer camp that provides a creative and fun outdoor experience for youth.
