- Review list of documents to verify application is complete
- Compile, sort and verify the validity of documents
- Assist Program Supervisor with ensuring the integrity of data entry
- Store completed documents in appropriate locations
- Accept direction for Program Supervisor in ensuring systems are in place to correct human error with data integrity
- Maintain logs of activities and completed work
Qualifications:
- Manage difficult or emotional client situations; responding respectfully and promptly to client needs
- Assure the confidentiality of all records/applications for LIHEAP clients
- Read and understand the program guidelines set forth by the LIHEAP program manual
- Adhere to all program and organizational policies and procedures set forth by CAPP
- Must be willing and able to lift bins of applications weighing up to 25lbs
- Must have a non-judgmental attitude with the ability to listen, be compassionate and empathetic
- Should have experience working with low income or diverse populations
- Candidate must be organized, friendly and possess meticulous attention to detail.
- Must be able to enter information into a database system in an accurate, yet time sensitive manner
- Must possess above average computer and communication skills
- Must have the ability and professional maturity to work as part of a team or individually
- Background check required
- Able to communicate effectively and professionally
- Must be able to follow directions
