- Welcomes residents to the VITA site
- Provides taxpayers with intake forms to complete and help with completion of forms as necessary
- Inform taxpayers of other services available agencywide
- Ensures that taxpayers have all necessary documents
- Ensures the taxpayer qualifies for VITA assistance
- Contacts residents to schedule/confirm appointments
- Makes copies of original documents (SS cards, W2's etc.) as needed
- Maintains a sign in sheet for orderly tax preparation process
- Directs taxpayers to the next available tax preparer
