Position Summary:

This position is primarily responsible for giving support to the Environmental Education Program Coordinator by performing a wide range of administrative duties.

Areas of Responsibility:

Education: Educational Programs

  • Prepare and send confirmation materials to teachers
  • Confirm programs via telephone one week prior to program
  • Prepare summer camp materials (nametags, check-in lists, etc.)
  • Create packets and materials for special events.

Education: Other Administrative Tasks

  • Basic clerical work.
  • Data entry into Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.
  • Updating of contact information for like organizations.
  • Print and prepare brochure mailings, stock brochures in Exhibit Hall.

Qualifications Needed:

Computer proficiency; experience with Microsoft Office required (Word, PowerPoint, Excel); Knowledge of office procedures including filing, computer database, spreadsheets and record systems preferred. Excellent communication, problem solving and interpersonal skills with attention to detail.

  • 10-12 Hours per week
  • Monday through Friday Schedule
  • Position working available hours are between 9am and 5pm
  • Print and prepare brochure mailings, stock brochures in Exhibit Hall.
