The Volunteer Leader will represent Metropolitan Ministries at various speaking events and volunteer fairs both on-campus and in the community. We rely on our volunteers to help us run efficiently, and recruitment is something that we need help with! The Volunteer Leader will assist with the recruitment of new volunteers and groups. In addition to recruiting volunteers, the Leader can also suggest an individual or group host a drive for Metropolitan Ministries.
Duties and Responsibilities: - Provide support/table for special events that occur in the community as a means of connecting others to the mission of Metropolitan Ministries - Give presentations at events where information about Metropolitan Ministries is requested - Assist with greeting and directing special events on the campus - Other tasks as requested by the Marketing/Advancement department
Experience: - High School Diploma - 2-3 years in Customer Service - Memorization of knowledge, pertaining to the functions and programs of Metropolitan Ministries - Ability to engage and assess interests of individuals to better connect them to the mission - Superior speaking ability
