Fostering is a lot of fun! Providing foster care will certainly be a rewarding experience as you are enabling the cat(s) to go on to the greatest adventure - a place where he/she will be cherished and loved until a great forever home is found. It is the primary way Cat Welfare Advocates can rescue cats and kittens needing help. We’ll match you with a foster cat/kitten (or cats/kittens) based on your requests and experience. After you attend our foster training, you’ll have a better idea of what type of fostering would suit your lifestyle best. We are seeking fosters for all life stages from bottle babies to adult senior cats.
Responsibilities: Responsible for the daily care of a foster cat(s), including feeding, exercising, playtime, socialization, grooming, reinforcing basic obedience and, of course, providing patience, love and security. We will provide all necessary medical care and full support throughout the foster period. Any additional expenses incurred by the foster parent may be tax deductible. Must be willing to work with the cat(s) to help them get ready for adoption. This may include basic training, socialization, etc. You will need to transport the foster cat(s) to scheduled medical appointments and/or adoption events as well as administer any required medications.
Requirements: To be a successful foster parent, you will need a compassionate nature, flexibility, willingness to follow instructions and interest and/or knowledge of animal behavior. Frequent email updates are required, and responsiveness to our team is critical to the success of our foster program. Reliable transportation. Our cat(s) must be fostered indoor only.

Mission Statement
Our mission is helping cats and the people who love them.
Description
As a new organization established in 2017, we serve the Silicon Valley. Our focus is to help the community and abandoned cats and kittens as well as to provide assistance to families and colony caregivers. We do our best to help any and all cats who need a chance to thrive. Our priority is placing each cat in our care in the best environment, suited to the cat's personality and needs.
We are a volunteer-based network of cat welfare advocates who envision a no-kill world in which every cat enjoys the good life, including the Five Freedoms of Animal Welfare*.

Our network of volunteers and connections allows us to foster and adopt out cats. To find the love and security of a permanent home for our cats, we take the utmost care to ensure our feline friends are a good match for each family. We view the cats in our care, like the cats in our own homes, as FAMILY.
