Community Based Mentoring
Volunteers are matched with a child or youth in the community of Colorado Springs, and choose a variety of mutually enjoyable activities in the community to do.
Volunteers commit to a minimum of one year, spending time with the same child or youth two to four times each month.
Big Brothers Big Sisters staff members support the mentors, offering suggestions, counsel and assistance.
This is our traditional program for which Big Brothers Big Sisters if best and most known for.
Right now, we are in high need for male volunteers. We presently have several young boys enrolled with us as Little Brothers, waiting to be matched with a Big.
