Providence ElderPlace_PACE is an innovative program of services for older adults. Providence ElderPlace helps older adults remain as healthy and independent as possible in the community for as long as possible.

In-Home Friendly Visitors: The ElderPlace In-Home Friendly Visitors program provides one-on-one support to our participants within their living environment outside of the ElderPlace facilities.

We have two participants in the Kent/Renton area who would love to have weekly or bi weekly visitors:

-This wonderful woman loves the outdoors. She is looking for a friend to go on short walks and possibly play cribbage with. She enjoys knitting and reading as well and is a world traveler.

-This fantastic woman loves movies, books, word searches, quilting and church. She is looking for someone to share these interests. Experience with people with dementia would be helpful but is not necessary for this volunteer.

Qualifications:
-Good listening skills
-At least 18 years old
-Dependable

Description

Providence ElderPlace is an innovative program of health care and social services for older adults. Our model of care is known as PACE (Program of All Inclusive Care for the Elderly).Participants attend the Providence ElderPlace Center on a regular basis, and transportation is provided. The ElderPlace team of health care and social service professionals and our affiliates provide comprehensive integrated care to our participants.
