Seeking volunteers in our Adult ESL Classes! Help empower adult language learners.
Students in our classes focus on the English that is most important to the parent's role in their child's education. When parents improve their English speaking ability, they gain confidence. That means building relationships with their child's teacher and connecting with their local school.
The Volunteer Classroom Assistant is responsible for providing assistance to adult English learners with varying levels of English proficiency and literacy.
Classes are offered Monday through Friday from 9am - Noon and 12:40 - 3:40pm
Spanish skills not required!

Description
OneWorld is the largest provider of primary health care services in South Omaha. We are the only primary care clinic in the area with a majority bilingual and bicultural staff, a sliding fee scale for patients without insurance, entitlement enrollment, on-site dental, pharmacy, behavioral health care, vision and other services.
OneWorld provides a vast range of services in health care, dentistry and behavioral health. We focus on meeting the primary health care needs of our community, and we maintain an open-door policy, providing treatment regardless of an individual’s income, insurance coverage, without differentiation or consideration of race, sex, disability, national origin, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, immigration status or ability to pay.
