What do we do? At OneWorld, all expectant and new mothers can attend prenatal appointments or classes, and when they attend, they receive "baby bucks" to spend on new baby essentials from our Baby Boutique. Our Baby Boutique volunteer helps greet and assist customers, organize stock, maintain the store, and help shop for new baby items as needed! Spanish skills helpful but not required.
When? There are 3 shift options:
- Monday from 10:00am to 12:00pm (2 hours)
- Monday from 12:00pm to 2:00pm (2 hours)
- Thursday from 2:00pm to 5:00pm (3 hours)
What to wear? Comfortable business casual.
Where to park? Volunteers are welcome to use the Livestock Exchange Building’s parking lot near 30th and L Streets. As a courtesy to accommodate our patients coming to the clinic for medical care, we ask volunteers to join our staff and use the parking spots furthest away from the doors. Overflow parking available across the street of our complex to the South at Metropolitan Community College.

Description
OneWorld is the largest provider of primary health care services in South Omaha. We are the only primary care clinic in the area with a majority bilingual and bicultural staff, a sliding fee scale for patients without insurance, entitlement enrollment, on-site dental, pharmacy, behavioral health care, vision and other services.
OneWorld provides a vast range of services in health care, dentistry and behavioral health. We focus on meeting the primary health care needs of our community, and we maintain an open-door policy, providing treatment regardless of an individual’s income, insurance coverage, without differentiation or consideration of race, sex, disability, national origin, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, immigration status or ability to pay.
