Project Sunshine is looking to open a college chapter at Spelman University! Project Sunshine provides students with the opportunity to spread sunshine and joy to children facing medical challenges. Volunteers from Project Sunshine are a diverse group of students, young professionals, corporate employees, retired professionals and people of all ages and backgrounds. Volunteers provide creative arts and crafts programs, games, and other activities in pediatric medical facilities for children and their family members.

We are currently looking for student volunteers interested in starting a college chapter!
Volunteers must be at least 18 years old.

Description

Project Sunshine addresses the psychosocial and developmental needs of pediatric patients and their families. Over 18,000 trained volunteers deliver programs that provide opportunities for creative expression, socialization, intellectual stimulation, and sensory integration -ensuring childhood remains a place of wonder. Project Sunshine partners with over 325 medical facilities across the U.S. and in four international locations, serving more than 150,000 pediatric patients and families.
