Courageous Women Association, is having our Career Development and Economic Empowerment Program for disadvantaged women and men, to help them gain employment and become self-sufficient. Our program is a 7 week Saturday only series, that will run beginning Saturday, March 3 - Saturday April 7, with a formal graduation being held on Saturday, April 14.
We need volunteers to assist with the following:
- Resume Writing assistance - needed each week during our breakout sessions
- Interview prep - needed each week during our breakout sessions
- Donation of breakfast and lunch for our clients and their children
- Provide donation of suits and other interview attire for both women and men - we need all sizes
- Baby sitting / childcare - providing arts & crafts, story reading, and other entertainment for the kids
- Setup/ cleanup

We are a nonprofit 501c3 Corporation providing support services, economic resources, transitional housing, and empowerment to women & children impacted by domestic violence, sexual assault, homelessness, prostitution & human trafficking, and other crippling life experiences. Our organization is built upon uplifting and empowering women from all walks of life, reminding them of their worth and importance in the world. We provide services to over 1000 women and children annually.
