Finger Lakes Living Healthy AmeriCorps members will be trained to facilitate the NYS Mentoring Program in four Wayne County, NY school districts: North Rose/Wolcott and Clyde/Savannah.
Members will serve with school and after-school personnel to plan, and create mentor/mentee matches that meet weekly throughout the school year and summer months.
Members will have rewarding experiences connecting with youth and community members, and in being the impetus to create meaningful and impactful 'matches'.
Members earn a modest Living Allowance while serving and an Education Award upon completion of $1311.11.
Mentoring will be conducted via ZOOM. Social distancing will be practiced.

Wayne County Action Program, Inc. is a community action agency established in 1966. We offer a variety of services for individuals and families.
We also provide volunteer opportunities and services through the Corporation for National and Community Service, including the AmeriCorps Senior: 'Foster Grandparent Program' and 'Retired/Senior Volunteer Program'. We also administer the Finger Lakes Living Healthy AmeriCorps program.
