Do you want to make an impact on the lives of youth? Are you looking for a volunteer opportunity that will increase your local network? Growing Alliances is seeking a MarketingAssociate to join our team. This volunteer opportunity includes working on websites, social media, making graphics and attending networking events with some of the most influential people in Bellingham, specifically in the food and farming industry, as well as the social services sector.This is a great position for students looking to do some service, or someone experienced in marketing who wants to broaden their community!

What you’ll be doing:

• Familiarize yourself with the mission and program goals of Growing Alliances
• Work with the Executive Director to implement the marketing plan
• Work with The Community Campaign Coordinator and The Donor and Volunteer Appreciation Coordinator to make digital campaigns for fundraising and outreach

• Promotion:
• Attend networking events with staff or independently for promotional reasons
• Promote our events and fundraisers online and in person
• Table at the Community Co-Op with another staff member to promote our mission on our community shopping day in February
• Computer work:
• Edit and beautify our website
