Novant Health Hospice is seeking local musicians who would be willing to donate their time to playing on our Harris Hospice Unit at Presbyterian Main or at Matthews Medical Center. You are not required to be a music therapist, we just need people who can play an instrument. Currently we have musicians who play the Chello, Harp, and keyboard. We are open to any type of music that could provide benefit to our patients and families.
Typically our musicians play one to two times a month on our unit for an hour to hour 1/2. You can choose your own music.

Our hospice care specialists provide care for terminally ill patients and their families. We know how sensitive these times may be, and our goal is to provide patients and their families with effective healthcare that will improve the quality of a patient’s last days.
We provide an individualized treatment plan to comfortably manage pain and physical symptoms of each need a patient may have. Our team is made of doctors, nurses, medical social workers, chaplains, grief counselors, and volunteers that work together to help patients live life as comfortably and fulfilled as possible.
