Dear Volunteer,
The American Kidney Fund will be participating in the Memphis Southern Women's Show at the Agricenter on Friday, March 9th (10am- 8pm), Saturday, March 10th (10am-7pm), and Sunday, March 11th (11am-6pm) and would like to invite you to participate in our event. There are different shifts offered each day. Please let us know which day works with your schedule and we will let you know the shift availability.
This event is part of a national effort to increase awareness of kidney disease while encouraging individuals to get and stay healthy. The event will consist of an outreach and educational component including free blood pressure screenings. We hope to screen more than 300 people. With your help we are confident that we will accomplish this goal.
We’d appreciate assistance with the following volunteer areas:
- Screening: Blood Pressure, Glucose (Medical/nursing students/professionals only)
- Screening: Health Counseling (Medical Professionals only)
The American Kidney Fund is a nonprofit organization that provides financial assistance to kidney patients and promotes awareness of kidney disease and its risk factors: high blood pressure and diabetes.
