NEED: Adaptive Golf Coach Volunteer

We are looking for volunteers willing to become confident and comfortable in teaching/helping with a recurring golf and life skills program (training provided!) at a nearby golf course for some of our day waiver day program attendees (staff will be present). Interested individuals would have to go through our volunteer process which includes a background check and fingerprint screening.
WHO: Lovers of Golf AND Adults with Special Abilities
TIME COMMITMENT: Attend an Adaptive Golf Coach Training Workshop (typically 1-2 days long) http://www.adaptivegolfacademy.com/about-our-workshops.html (Date TBD).
Once a week volunteering (most likely from 10:00am-11:30am on a Wednesday or Thursday) to work with approx. 8 Villagers at a golf & life skills clinic.

Tucked away on a beautiful 55-acre campus 30 miles northeast of downtown Atlanta, Annandale Village is a special place where men and women with intellectual and developmental disabilities lead lives that reflect quality, independence, self-worth, and achievement with the utmost care and compassion.
As a community where people can age in place, Annandale Village offers a comprehensive array of programs and services designed to improve the quality of life of each individual served, according to his or her own unique needs and abilities. Characteristically, individuals served at Annandale Village are 18 years of age or older with a primary diagnosis of an intellectual or developmental disability, and those that have experienced an acquired brain injury.
