Every day an individual or group donates the evening meal to Project Hope for the Homeless, arriving at either 5pm with a meal for (15) people, or 6:45pm with a meal for (50) people.
We are currently looking for businesses, groups, and individuals who would be available to provide a meal occasionally, or on a scheduled basis.
Meal volunteers prepare and deliver the evening meal off-site and deliver to the shelter by the scheduled time. Meals for our family guests (15) are delivered at 5pm M-F, and meals for our adult guests (50) are delivered at 6:45pm 7 days a week.
The volunteer services director will schedule dates and times in advance, as well as provide dates in which meals are needed. DO NOT make a meal without scheduling it.

Responding to the human hurts and hopes of persons in Lake County who are homeless by providing emergency shelter, care and guidance in the name and for the sake of Jesus Christ.
Project Hope is a faith-based, ecumenical temporary emergency shelter for men, women & children. Every day, prescreened homeless guests, numbering up to 50 daily, do chores, eat, shower, set and work toward positive goals, & receive help or information from other agencies, which ultimately leads to a total success rate of more than 80% transitioning to better living conditions within 45 days. Project Hope provides more than a meal and shelter, it renews lives and restores hope. Come be a part of the success!
