classes

FeLT is 100% volunteer run and staffed. We provide free classes to women and immigrants who cannot get education elsewhere.

We teach ESL, Literacy and violence prevention, among other subjects, with classes in two NY locations, and a possible third in Brooklyn.

All of our teaching materials and space are donated.

However, it is time for us to build and grow, and we need funds! Up until now, we have relied on donations online from friends and family. It has given us an amazing start, but we need someone who can focus on fundraising, and perhaps grant writing for us and with us.

We run a creative organization and every person involved volunteers their time and skills, but also has a voice... we love hearing new ideas, and we love learning from each other!

Are you this person? Do you have a passion for education? want to help women and immigrants? Believe that everyone deserves a shot at the American dream?
