We are looking for aspiring or qualified ESL teachers to work with our wonderful non-profit organization. We teach immigrant men & women on Tuesday afternoons. The hospital has donated the space for us, and many of the patients are in their Survivors of Torture Program.

The majority of the students are literacy level. They are learning their ABCs and slowly learn vocabulary and very simple sentences. Others are more advanced and can discuss situations and issues.

Non training is necessary, as we will happily give support and training throughout. You must have a genuine desire to help immigrants thrive in their new country.

We are looking to add teachers to our rotation schedule on Tuesdays at 4pm - 5:30pm

There is no compensation, we are all 100% volunteers at our organization, but we are a fun group, enjoy our work and are building a real community group.
