It's Ok Now, an online wellness community platform is seeking pro bono eLearning curriculum developers to design and develop engaging interactive resilience and coping skills module prototype that is easy to use by youth ages 12 to 19+ years. The curriculum content will be developed based on existing highly successful set of Apps created by the National PTSD Center at VA, for veterans. Qualifications, Experience & Skills
- Masters in Education and some background in Psychology
- Experience in teaching or working teens
- Strong knowledge and experience in curriculum development for high schools
- Interest in youth emotional and mental wellness
- Familiarity of social media and web platforms
- eLearning curriculum development (super plus!)
- Experience with content authoring tools
- Translate and convert existing mobile app and website content into engaging teen friendly content
- Write scripts and story board for eLearning modules
- Design and develop eLearning curriculum using appropriate instructional design methodology and development tools
- Create and select effective media elements, including video, graphics, audio and animation, that enhances student comprehension and engagement
- Use own discretion and independent judgment in the creation of learning tools, courses, and programs
- Work with key stake-holders and subject-matter-experts to confer and verify methods and content

It's OK Now, is a nonprofit online wellness platform for Teens and Pre-teens, that focuses on early intervention by helping build resilience and coping skills based on evidence-based techniques, for those who feel stressed, anxious and overwhelmed. It encourages positive change through the use of self-improvement tools under the guidance of one-on-one mentors and through effective use of curated content on the web.
