Miracles in Motion will be hosting their annual Open Mic event at Marion Franklin Recreation Center. We are in need of volunteers to help with set up, serving, and clean up. This is an opportunity for students that participate in Watkins ES to share with others some of their favorite poems of the year in honor of National Poetry Month.

Miracles in Motion's mission is to utilize the arts to help with the emotional well-being of youth while at the same time enhancing their educational experience.
Description
The miracle behind Miracles in Motion is "Laney Girl" Dalaney who was born with a developmental disability, she does not see herself as being disabled. As a result of the miracles in motion showcased in Laney Girl's life it helped to see that there are more miracles waiting to be discovered in other children. In order to help create more miracles we conduct a Poetry Club in a Columbus Public school for grades 3-5. We provided inclusive events for disabled and non-disabled children. We also share the incredible personality of Laney Girl in children's books that are based on the bigger than life little girl that lives beyond limits.
