If you are an expert in recruiting, have a passion for gender parity, and you like to laugh - we want you! No professional comedy experience needed. All are welcome to volunteer with us - including female identifying persons, and men!

THE EXPERIENCE FOR YOU

This recruitment role is a resume builder and a wonderful opportunity for someone with skills in the areas listed below.

Duties: Sourcing, interviewing, recruiting, and securing volunteers for empty committee roles, "day of" event volunteer needs, volunteer performers, volunteer speakers, and any other needed volunteer roles

Ideal candidate: is an expert and guru in people; a background in human resources, hiring, training, educating, and a fondness for the detail of individuals who can recruit the best volunteers to carry out our mission

TIME COMMITMENTS

This volunteer role requires 5-10 hours per week. 1 hour per week will be dedicated to check in meetings with the Executive Director. The remainder of the hours can be spent at your leisure so long as tasks are completed on time.

ROLE DESCRIPTION

The National Head of Volunteer Recruitment is a part time volunteer position responsible to carry out our mission statement to empower, connect, and advocate for women and girls seeking paid careers in comedy. The National Head of Volunteer Recruitment aids the Executive Director in finding the best talent to start new chapter cities and carry out our mission as well as keeping committees and chapters across the U.S. fully staffed with volunteers as needed.
